Impromptu Gardening

Friends of Fort Massachusetts founding members,  Sue Watson, Wendy Champney, and Craig Chicoine, did a little impromptu gardening today!

Wendy suggested replacing the worn and faded plastic flowers with real ones -- to reflect the care that the site deserves until we can formally proceed with our co-stewardship arrangement with the Golub Properties Inc. And we were meeting at the site to see what needs to be done when we plan a day to spruce up the site; pick up garbage, remove deadwood, prune trees and brush, etc. But, one thing led to another.

From, pull a few weeds here and there, and plant some geraniums, to let's replace this red mulch with black mulch! and, how about a new flag!  (A Union Jack is on order to place beside the Stars & Stripes)

... to this!

A job well done if I do say so myself!
